From 2019 - 2023, I oversaw both BMW Canada and North America accounts, focusing on CRM which included email programs, as well as video content.

BMW 50 Years of M

Forced Perspective Billboard 

To mark the 50 years of the BMW M, BMW Canada wanted to make a splash and acquired media space in Toronto’s Dundas Square with a forced perspective billboard, the first in Canada.

We worked in partnership with Astral Media to figure out the best approach to showcase the M4 CSL and the electric i4 M50 in a narrow space. The solution was to show a race between the two vehicles, which also shows how the electric version is just as quick and nimble as the traditional gas vehicle.

BMW M Event

Moncton, NB

Another format to celebrate the anniversary brought us to Moncton, New Brunswick for an M event. There was even a flag ceremony with Mayor Arnold to kick it off.

The video takes us through the event hosted by Chris Bacich of BMW Moncton near Dieppe. While driving a classic M, Chris gives us the history and his perspective as to why the M is the most recognized letter in the world. Candid interviews with BMW owners, sharing their passions for their vehicles is woven in with visuals of past and future of M.

Forces of Nature

CBC/BMW Canada/Media Experts/Performance Art

In collaboration with BMW Canada, Performance Art created an idea to bring the BMW iX, sustainability and the circle economy to light.

Host Michele Romanow, a recognizable and trusted authority on Canadian innovation, uncovers incredible stories of people committed to a better future through innovation and sustainability. BMW sustainability principles are woven in as they relate to each episode.

BMW + Tennis Canada

With their shared passion for performance and power, BMW Canada has been a platinum level sponsor of Tennis Canada’s Rogers Cup since 1990. 

As part of the Rogers Cup sponsorship agreement, BMW provides a fleet of vehicles for transportation of players and media. In addition, BMW’s participation in the event is recognized through on-court back-wall signage, on-site vehicle displays, hospitality, preferred parking and program advertising.

BMW used the court space to feature the redesigned BMW 7 Series, along with an electric version, the i7. This vehicle was designed with innovation in mind, drop down rear theatre screen, control console in the arm rest of the door, reclining rear seats, Swarovski crystal headlines, as well as a high performing electric option. Truly a best-in-class vehicle.

My role was to oversee the creative team to make sure they captured the true essence of the vehicle by weaving together various video assets provided by the client.
